Bicycle Memorial Ride for Cyclist

Phillip Richards an avid cyclist was hit by a motorist in Calimesa California on December 29, 2013 and succumbed to his injuries and passed away on January 11, 2014. A memorial ride was held in his honor on Saturday January 25, 2014. The memorial ride went from Redlands California to Beaumont California. The ride traveled to the site of the fatal bicycle accident where a bike was painted all white in remembrance of the victim. As an avid cyclist myself this tragic event hits close to home. Although i did not know Mr. Richards i am deeply troubled by the event that took his life but i am also very appreciative that the cycling community came out to support and remember him.
